can see how this happens. I sometimes get a bit muddled when wrapping up several things that all finish at the same time. Have not sent out the wrong stuff yet but nearly.

Pitty you didn'y end up getting the good side of the deal

I would assume the guy that bought the rear seat hinges got himself some bucket hinges. Here hoping he sends them back if it is the case.
I have sold stuff before and it could be an honest mistake. I alway print out the paypal or ebay invoice for each item and use that to write the name and address on the back and tape it to the parcel.

EDIT
If the the unfortunate happens and you only get a refund make sure you get your postage back too. If he says he will only refund item cost open a paypal dispute and you will get all your money. I've been there.

Yes I agree. Ouch that hurts. But its obviously an honest mistake. Hopefuly he is able to sort it out for you.

I once sold 2 flywheels. one a VL one and the other a 308 one. I sent the 308 one to NZ and the VL one to QLD. opps it was the wrong way around. I was able to get the two people to send them to each other and I coverd the costs. Expencive mistake but sadly it does happen.

Sold about 40 lots of my kids old toys on ebay recently, just used to sort everything into lots and as soon as it sold put it aside with a name on it.

Everyone got their bits and not one complaint. If these sellers are doing it as a commercial sideline they need to be better organised.

How do you do that Jason? I messaged him through Ebay and suggested he arrange for me and the other winner to exchange addresses so we can forward our packages.

had the same happen and I got my money back but never got my item... hope you have better luck than I did. Took me months to get the same item again and had to pay more :angry:
