Sounds interesting dude...whats a hdt van??
i have the correct bull bar that you need for the replica. It would be very hard to find... u can have for $100, and thats mainly because i will have to drive around and take it to a depot and fill out con notes and its time consuming,
"All correspondence must bear these numbers"
that would be one hard but to find for that replica..and expensive to replicate unless you have handy mates.
can one of you two buy it so i don't trip over it anymore..? OZ weren't you building a HDT replica van?, swap ya for a front LH WB stato wheel arch mould. lol
"All correspondence must bear these numbers"
yeh i was goin to but rallyvan wanted to do it more so i went on with other projects...left front, damned hard to find a nice one..ive got a few but i think most have damage down the bottom 2 inches at the front.
308mate,
The van I'm replicating was a Sandman that HDT rally team used to service and tow rally cars arround with in the late 70's-early 80's. So basicly a sign written Sandman with roof rack and bullbar. Adam I'll PM you regarding the bar as I have a mate in Perth that can do the leg work for me in regard to the running arround to freight depots. That would be a much easier option than sitting down and drawing the bullbar up and fabricating it myself.
It will be something different in the service area compared to all the 4wd utes and old banger trucks that you usually get at a rally! Hopefully it will stir some of the old timers memory and they will tell a few stories about that period of rallying when the events where real adventures and the crews true characters!
Anthony
Wickid man! something different. bring it on ....
cheers \m/
