Yes there is a correct way and thanks to Rodney for pointing it out to me.

The headlight surround has a curve which matches the curve of the indicator - so headlight surround's curve must 'frame' the whole lighting design.

thanks, mine were on the right way but its still wrong because its a HJ so should have a single headlight front but i love the statesman front so its staying
