this is what order i deduct sandman ID or not - in order.
this is quick way and there are always exeptions to the rule.

as the thread title says - Quick ID guide

    1) XX7 or XU3 on Body tag & ADR chassis number must end in B for a start (to prevent tag swapping) - look further into this later. Brisbane cars only
    2) 2 seater
    3) built 10/1975 or later? GVM should be 1860kg / 1950kg / 2000 Kg
    4) Paint and trim codes are they sandman or not.
    5) if 9/1975 or earlier and non brisbane, they will always be grey areas to ID

i think this should be the initial steps of the process......as it should ID 80% of genuine cars presented.

tyre placards aren't really worth looking at because of all the repo ones around now. - unless you have had the car a long time.

Hi, Just quick question, looking at a HX, with XX7 (Brisbane) so if the driver's side tag has the chassis number ending in B it is a Brisbane car, because I was just wondering what connects all the tags together so you know they are all off the same car and hasn't been swapped?

Thanks in advance for your help

You don't in most cases. Utes are a lot easier but vans can be a nightmare.
