Holden VS Ford

sounds good but Rodney is going to Cobar and Louth (close to bourke) and I am going to the picnic races (horse) which is a huge event here, and takes 3 days to get over.....If anyone is going to Bathurst this year, we are and if anyone else is we should all catch up there...however nobody will want to sit with me coz I will be wearing the blue oval....

But if you are ford ppl maybe you should sell your Holdens!!

:yawn: you're kidding right.... The only thing Ford or Holden about today's Bathurst cars is the body shell.....

Pre 1980 we were holden fans, then came the crumodore....when I went to Bathurst and watched Brockie win I was a Holden fan....then they stopped making what we consider to be a good vehicle....we now have a Ford GT, and have only just traded in a cross 8 holden for a pov pack ford ute for work.....(family discount at the dealership)

Gaddy - We love our Sandmans..

and will restore them back to as near perfect as possible, and will never sell them...A good car is a good car whether it be ford or Holden.....I personally would also love an XYGTHO but I don't have 3-5K to spend on one......:cry:

and I agree with Absinth the only difference is the badge and motors....Loundes and Whincup went to the darkside coz they were offered more money...Ford really were not putting enough money into them...(I have a suspician the government were propping up Holden to keep manufacturing in Australia but that may only be a gut feeling) ;)

I do agree Jennie!! A great car is a great car!!
I was just stirring the pot!!
I think this weekend though is a Ford vs Holden Show n Shine, not a race!!
Ill try n take some pics and post em somewhere for you all to see!!
