Got my van back from the panel beaters and he has done a fantastic job. Passenger side gutter has had some major repairs, both bottoms of rear quarters had dents and rust removed. The cowl panel was fully removed, rust repaired in the lower section (underneith the cowl) the "A" pillars were repaired just under the cowl, then a cowl panel was made out of 3 original cowl panels and then re-fitted to the car. Before it was fitted I had to give him my front guards so that the cowl sat at the correct height to the guards! I need to save some more money so that he can fix the sills and some more smaller sections of the gutters.
My engine has been recoed, along with the gearbox which I will pick up tomorrow. Rust repairs have come up awsome!DSC03046.jpgDSC02864.jpgDSC02866.jpgDSC03048.jpgDSC02862.jpgDSC03049.jpgDSC03049.jpgDSC03043.jpgDSC03047.jpg

Well today a major milestone was reached with the rebuilding of my plain jane HZ ute. The radiator was installed again and after four months of front end rebuilding, the motor was finally started again with a new battery. Fired up brilliantly. Perfect motivation to get the annoying bit (wiring repairs) done.
