    Oh hang on maybe not...

You didnt happen to record what the tyre placard was? Or happen to get a pic of it? Ive never seen a XU4 HZ placard.....

    Cheers
    Jason
I've asked for a picture of it because the number quoted was different to what it should be. Number quoted is 9947525 (one digit different)

No, as the big unknown yet is when I will find the documentation I need. It's still in the Word document phase. I have yet to even decide how to publish it, whether it'll be a book, magazine (like the AMC ID handbook) etc.

    Hmm thats weird!

Im wondering maybe.... The later models HZ got a different number to the early HZ XU4......... Because like you say its one number higher.

hmmmm..... Im keen as mustard mate to see a pic of it!

AH Har - EDIT: I just looked at my placard list. 9947525 is to suit 10cwt WB Ute or Van. So maybe. Like I said maybe the late HZ's got the WB XU4 placard. Or maybe the lids been replaced with a WB XU4 placard. But this would be very very unlikely as there wouldnt be many XU4 WB's around.

Interesting Very very interesting! Still keen to see a pic tho.

I'd like to say I remember it well but I help with at least one a week, so memories of it are thin. Funny that HQ and HJ are in fact the easiest to identify in many ways, yet HX and HZ can be a snack too. But now and again one will stump you!
