You have contradicted yourself Byron, it is an 8/76 build which puts it out of the 4/76 "early build" that you mention, it also has 19V trim which makes it not a Sandman, with the chassis number welded over I would be suspicious about the vehicles history as well.

These are the tags of the HX Kingswood that I started another thread about, I bought it off e-bay, when I saw the tags on the ad I thought it might have been a Sandman but its a Kingswood. That other van has been optioned up by the original purchaser, probably didn't like the gaudy new stripes but wanted all the other Sandman features, just as my ute has the de-rated load capacity as it was probably ordered with GTS rims and passenger tyres.
