Take a look on FB at a group called Panelvan interiors past and present.

I'm still deciding what to do in the back of the HX. It's basically completely stripped now. Doors off, gates off all trims off front apron and rad support gone. ( looking for a clean dual headlight rad support btw ppl!! )
Not sure wether to do all the work in the back before sending it to the panel shop.

    Hmm n!!! What to do.

Hahaha Thats what my WB's for! As usual, the ute is the daily, and the van is the weekend warrior :D

Thanks mate They're is some pretty ugly interiors in there!! :/ But there are a few exceptions that are clean and tidy..

i dont mean fill it with speakers but you could make some pretty cool smoothed shapes.
I kinda hate that :/ It just looks to futuristic for the old vans...

I have seen some sort of felt like material used on the van sides up to the jeadlining that looks neat too. Means you can still use it for carrying stuff, or you can throw a matress in if you like. Thee is plenty of room on the back of the removable side panels for speakers or 12V sockets, or even to recess and hide an inverter. If you are running lots of 12V stuff it doesn't hurt to hide a sealed 12V battery up under the floor with a diode protected feed from the alternator so you don't flatten the car's battery.
Spot on! I'm thinking about a having a small archway that doesn't look like a dog house door haha

If I do deck it out, it'll be a basic but neat and tidy setup. The floor will most likely go flat and be covred in carpert of some sort, while there will be some wooden (covered in some form of material..) boxes that will neatly cover up the wheel arches, and will also have lids/openings to act as storage for stuff both infront and behind the wheel arch.. They would also have some neatly recessed into the the wood..
Then the side panels will be covered by a padded panel covered in vinyl that goes from the boxes to the headlining..
I'm also thinking about keeping the curtains on the archway and the rear window haha

That way it can still remain functional if I ever want to transport something, and a matress can be fitted if need be...

Leave the back clear while its in the shop. Gives them a place to put all your parts and less likelihood of them getting lost.

When you say " dual headlight" are you talking about a Byron dual headlight or dual headlights either side?
