That's cheap. V6 ones are usually asking more than that.

Looks to be purple rather than black though.

Certainly Purple (even says so in the listing) Cosmo is the colour actually.
Price is fair considering the condition. Klms are a little high compared to some but not high for the year model.
Couple of faults in the ad. These are not called Commodores, simply a Holden and only 224 were made for HBD not 250 as mentioned.

Nice van, I had an 04 SS sedan in cosmo. I alway's kept it clean and waxed, and it was a really nice colour, after my initial reservation's.

It gets annoying doesn't it when VU onwards utes, tonners and crewman plus V2-VZ Monaro get called Commodore. I don't think the Adventra is either. In the early days the whole V size range were Commodores but once Calais was released in VK part of the series were not Commodore. Early utes (VG-VSIII) were actually badged as Commodore for some odd reason though.
I had some Ford fool doing some work at my house trying to tell me my V2 Monaro was a Commodore, and he wouldn't have it they weren't. He sort of shut up a bit when I told him his beloved 70's Fairmont and Landau Coupes are Falcons then, as were all the Fairlanes and Fairmonts.

It can, but it is understandable as both look the same and most share the same prefix. If you make everything look the same people call them the same. Holden is at fault just as much as the people who call their names wrong.

True, the silly thing is V2 Monaro has very little in Common with a Commodore, not even the series designation. A few dash parts and front guards and bonnet. Plus of course the engine and box, although the ECU tune is different. Not even the wheels on V2 CV8 are shared anywhere on any other Holden car (they are a HSV only wheel). VZ Monaro got a unique engine too. HK-HJ coupes had a lot more in common with their sedan versions from the same series, Monaro and LS even shared the same luxury level coding as Kingswood and Premier respectively! VU onwards utes are a lot closer to their Commodore cousins though.

I must of looked at the interior colour, hardly noticed it was purple, I thought people may of not liked me saying it was a sandman thank god I didnt say it was a commodore, anyway just thought some people on here may of been interested seems in pretty good nick and price seems reasonable, probably do another 160, 000 klm before it gives any trouble.
