Is the ek a keeper? I've got a few utes a pvan and sedan tryin to get a few to make one good ute and one good van but there harder to find in good nick I'd like to find one in same nick as your van

From Walgett I work for essential energy so spot a few cars while out working but usually get the same response goin to fix it soon asked about an eh with an xu1 eng has been sitting since late 70s and his response was goin to bring it up from what looked like a car graveyard and rebuild it he also had a 75 tonna in a shed ask him about it he said he pulled the water pump off in 76or77 never moved since but he's gonna do it and the eh lol

That's not far from met all.. haha That's the usual! It happens all to often :/ Its just a shame that they just rot away beyond repair :(

Yeah, the EK is a keeper.. She's 1 of 4 utes to come from the factory in Cameo Beige, he's just finished a resto on it, but he had it up for sale a while ago - I don't know if it still is - but $20,000 was the price from memory :/
He'd probably have some parts out there, I'd have to ask him... haha

Will have to check the colour on my ek's maybe a rare one too where are you ,at moree or narrabri area there still heaps of old cars about just gotta ask . See if your mate has any leftovers from his build or leads would appreciate it will have to keep in touch will look through my bits to see if I have an old stock mudflap for ya will let ya know

That's the info I was given, and its one of those ''that we know of'' situations.. The president of the FB/EK club has only ever seen 4 x Cameo Beige EK utes in the 60yrs he's been collecting Holden stuff up to and including FB/EK's..
