Craphead arseholes who did this. It strikes me, that whoever stole it either lives far far away, or intends to use it commercially.

It might be worth sending pics of the stolen trailer to the more established scrap metal collectors/ tow truck operators in the area, to see if they if any spot their competitors using it, they would be sure to report it, small scale steel recycling is a cut throat business.
You might also suggest to your friend to keep an eye on ebay, trading post, circulate details to the regionally local classifieds - the police are unlikely to be that thorough. It is quite possibly still in the local area?

I really hope they get caught, and your friend gets his trailer back.

At least I think that is the crux of what Rodney was attempting to convey.
Sorry on Rodney's behalf. He has a lot of trouble with English and is very dyslexic. When I was a moderator I fixed his threads, because I didn't want to discourage him from making and adding to posts. Thanks alien if you can edit, if I haven't already done it from his iPad.

Nothing sux more than having something stolen. Especially something specifically designed for your own use. Hope it's recovered.

HK one is being installed in our van ASAP, do you know a good site to get one from or a good brand we are becoming paranoid. But feel we will be able to sleep better knowing we can track it down if needs be. Leaving your smartphone in cars can be helpful with the find iPhone app available.

I got myself one of these when I had a halfway respectable boat, gave good peace of mind and you can lock it while parked and onto the car while moving.

As someone who has his pride and joy go "missing" before I would suggest this to anyone who will listen. I was lucky to get it back, albeit partially stripped (steering wheel, console etc). Could have been much much worse.
    Nunc est bibendum...
