I've posted 2 threads with two different drifters.....i'd be leaning towards the rustier one for the simple reason it looks like factory paint. Nothing would been hidden. And you could take measurements of the original stripes before repairing the rust.

Having vic plates doesnt really matter. Looks like the rego expired ( according to the rego sticker ) in 2006 so it will have to go through the pits all over again anyways!!
