    Bill lee is the WA HDT dealer and did the mods on wb magnums commodores etc in the 1980's

    Any dunce knows who bill lee is but that was 30 years ago he doesnt do them now

    call Jim at Perth Carbies. Legend of a bloke and quite reasonable. He's always helped me, my bro, my dad, my mates etc over the years. He has a massive library of carbs so if you need bits, he'll have them

    If the carby you send Hume is totally original they'll rebuild itr that way. But if you want a carb bult to suit your engine best go to someone like Zok in Victoria.

    So do humes do the recon or do they farm it out and then mark it up for the customer

    They do it in house. I took my Quaddy for my HJ Premier down there and saw the workshop. It is a little unit in an Industrial Estate down where the Cumberland Highway turns right towards Liverpool.

    he's deffo up against it. new chinese Holleys at circa $300 bench tuned... well not quite. i put one on a 308 and it ran terribly

    Morris @ kwinana performance still sends them to him. He told me that last week
