Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
Looks great keep chipping away your not far from the end now, love the colour
bit easier for me mate, I dont have a young family and trying to do reno's at the same time, you will get there
thanks Rob
the final assembly always takes forever, van looks ready but lots to do
agreed, Holden made a good choice..... we just muck around and fine tune them to make them better. They are 15x 8 and 15x7 chromed and then painted
Got a chance to do a bit of plumbing, just waiting on the carby to come back from the platers to finish off the engine

That is one awesome job when u finnish can u do mine? I know u will be board stupid!
Great stuff, Love the colourWay too much Chrome for me under the bonnet, but good for you, you gunna ****in love driving that around...
Amazing job youve done. Really incredible.
Reminds me of something I saw on facebook the other day, which said "My greatest fear is that Ill die one day and my wife will sell all my car parts; for what I told her they cost me...." Ha
Cant imagine how much this must have cost you by now but it looks farkin amazing!
I figured some one would comment about the amount of chrome, but its my choice if I deciede to use "way too much chrome", the engine bay can easily be taken back to stock if I want to and all the stock parts have been safely stored.
I reckon that its my build so I can do what I want to the van and I like the engine bay chromed, didnt do it to please anybody else.
I also like stock engine bays and respect those builders who put their time, money and dedication into their project and choose to build their cars that way.
thanks for the comments..... nice to see someone likes the chrome
thanks mate, my wife would get rid of it now given 1/2 a chance, no love its not a X5. I was surprise how much bits and piece have gone up since my last build, no wonder Rare spares is a multi million dollar company and I helped them along a bit
I hope its not an anti climax when its done. There were so many bits I hated, the dirt and grime but the stuff im doing at the moment is clean and enjoyable, really starts to look a little more finished every job done

Grunt we have done three original sandmans now So our malachite sandman van will, with a bit of luck have as much chrome under the bonnet., plus some other mods which can be changed back if we ever need to sell it as a sandman stock standard.
