Shitter van- $6000
panel n paint $10,000
2nd hand driveline $1500
interior $2000
misc inc brakes and mech etc $3000
totes $22,500 and you know your not gonna find an ass load of bog, you get the colour you want etc etc
EVERY $15-$20K 'restored' car ive ever seen has rust bubbles. most dumpties wash n shine their car which means its only a matter of time before the cancer returns... at which point they sell it and it becomes someones elses problem

10k will be lucky to pay for paint only.
I contracted a painter that works for a mate of mine to blow down a van. i paneled it and prepped it up then hired a booth for $120 the day inc paper, tape and thinners (obviously this is cheap). 2k paint was $150 (hook up) and paid him a $250 fee for half a days work. $500 paint job!
