    Then you have people paying for insurance on machines they don't own, such as truck drivers and taxi drivers etc.
    It won't save any money anyway. Everyone just pays the insurance on their license instead of their rego.
    Not to mention the rates vary according to the type of vehicle etc.
    Plus... The only person not covered by CTP is the driver. It covers everyone else. Hence the name Compulsory Third Party insurance.
