Someone mentioned the Goodies earlier but how about The Kenny Everett show, Dave Allan at Large or The Two Ronnies. That Kenny Everett show was nuts, no doubt a lot of that stuff goes over your head when your a kid.

I remember the ad in B&W.

I also remember the McDonalds in Figtree with the fibreglass caricatures and theme throughout the whole restaurant.
The McDonalds in Warrawong was the first drive thru in Australia. It, like all Macca's burnt to the ground when it was time to move or revamp.

The Dick Emery Show. "Oh you are awful but I like ya!"

    Remember the CHUNKY bar.
What the introduction of the ICEE machine with cut out coupons on the cup to get a free one. Must have been around 1977.
The BMX bicycle. I first spotted them when I was in Perth in 1980. There were some Moto-Cross versions prior but the true BMX every kid ended up with one.
Anyone remember going down to the shop on your bike to buy a loaf of bread for Mum and having the bread bag rub on the front tyre and the bread falling out and landing is gravel?

Oh and Billy Carts, man my old Dad built a monster that took a minimum of 3 kits to push it was made of 5x2" hardwood it got name "Convoy" after the movie. We'd race them at the public school down the quadrangle.
If any other Billy Cart got in it's path it would crush it. Especially those that had plastic wheels and were made from flimsy wooden bottle crates. A mate had a Billy Cart made from a pine coffin we found under his house? and we would lay flat in it and roll it. We "nailed" in seatbelts out of a wreck. No idea how we survived?
