Mirage Grand Prix was at Oxley on Ipswich Rd, the people running it were idiots and too strict. Me and three other mates went out not long after it first opened, spent about $20 each playing pinball and video games then $10 each on a licence to drive the carts and $15 each for three laps.... All three of us spun out on a hairpin bend in the first lap and were stopped and our licenses taken off us with no refund for the unused laps.... There was hardly anyone there and we were the only ones on the track... Friggin rip off and we never went back... No wonder they went broke within a couple of years.
