would really suck if you got it registered, drove home and on the way were pulled over and fined for advertising cigarettes.

i certainly hope not but with some of the stupid laws being passed lately you never know. A friend was holidaying in the NT a few weeks ago and pulled over in a National Park for lunch, they put out the roll out awning on the caravan and were sitting under it with table and chairs having lunch when the Ranger came along, told them they were camped illegally and fined them $150.

Another friend was on his way to Townsville and after driving for five hrs decided to pull over on the side of the road for a rest at 1:00am...... Around 2:00am he was awoken by highway patrol telling him to move on as he can't sleep on the side of the road and needs to find a designated rest stop???? So much for all the "rest or R.I.P" advertising....

Stupid stuff new hwy officer here is booking people for the most strange things eg insecure groceries on back seat of one car, tried to book a p plater for driving wearing thongs?? Parked on kerb facing traffic , the list goes on but he's new so making a name for himself , but I'm sure it's not the name some people call him.
