I bought a used 2.5tonne 3phase Molnar. Was about $2500 installed. For the money I'd have the used Aussie made one every time over a new Asian one.

I don't think these hoists are going to wear out too quickly if used in a domestic situation like most of us have, so a good used Aussie built one would be my choice EVERY TIME too.

Stay away from 3 phase though, unless you already have it because it costs a fortune to get it hooked up.
