Never did I get disrespectful or state they couldn't name the their Van "The Gambler". Anyone who feels I did can take it up with me personally.
I didn't and don't think it the right thing to do as another already has the name and it is a Holden Panel Van and a member of the same Van club as Rod & Jenny.
This is being respectful to John the owner of the "Orange" Van with the number plate GAMBLR who has had that name in use for a long time.
I didn't feel you were being disrespectful Inni, I felt you were just explaining the etiquette involved which I felt that Rod and Jenn took exactly how you meant it, I think Rod and Jenns van is theirs to name and do with what they want, and I just look at it as another interpretation of the moniker.
Mate, I am an ex interstate truck driver and nick names and truck names are everything but quite a few truck drivers have my nick name but I haven't found any with my trucks handle, version I,II & III which doesn't surprise me, LMAO.
So what were the nicknames ??

I know Rod & Jenny and I'm sure they took as intended. Others have gone on an attack of sorts.
Personally I like both Rod & Jenny along with their contributions and they have built a neat Van to their liking that I'm sure they will enjoy.
As for naming, that again is up to them. I just think it's best to be respectful to others and see if you can be original.
How about 'CHAINSAW'
