Just listening to the local news Jennie. It sounds like it is pretty bad over at Parkes. Hope you are high and dry.

I really feel for the poor buggers on the land. My Grandparents, parents, Uncles/Aunties/cousins all have/had properties around West Wyalong, Ungarie, Tallimba and Beckom and I used to spent my holidays driving a tractor around in ever diminishing circles....and loved it. I was out west a few months ago (Griffith via Temora) and the crops looked spectacular to say the least...I thought for sure the cockys would be in for a bumper year...then the damn rain. Hope you guys, and gals, can hang in there for another year and if you want a free tractor driver for next years harvest let me know (I've got a pop top van and my own esky so I'm self sufficient)...I'm a little rusty but nothing 5 minutes back in the seat cant fix.
This is a genuine offer....you just tell me what gear and how many rpm and I'm off until sunset....hell, I'd even be happy to sit on an old tractor with just a sunshade and a McCormick pto header.

I might take you up on that GTS! Might depend on if I get this harvest off first though.

I wish they were all green and worth heaps of money but they are barley, wheat and oats. Just sowed some sorghum as a summer crop as well.

You must have a fair plot of dirt for all them?

Geez, your farms have more water on them than all the Victorian lakes had in them last year! Hope you guys salvage something for all your hard long hours you put in.

Those last puics definately have to get blown up and put on the family wall. Could possibly never happen again and no one will believe it happened.

I love water skiing, had major surgery on my right sholder few weeks back. Driver only this season.
