    And there we have it, a working temp gauge ! inserted resistor as per Dr Terry's instructions. Big thank you to Damien for steering me in the right direction.
    Now I just need to get the clock working mmmm. Very happy

    A couple of capacitors should get the clock going.

    WB - just had a look on the Holdenpaedia site and it sounds / looks do able. Plenty of info on that site.
