It would require an engineers report (as mine did) and you do need to over engineer it somewhat. The VU-VZ are basically a station wagon just like the FJ-HG panelvans. I'm not so sure about the VE-VF. I believe the Ute liner hides a lot of holes in the VE-VF and without the liner, crap would just full on the road?

I have seen a VE done on the Vanning show scene. So it can be done.
Dust seal in another thing you would need to correct.
Maybe a tail tent would be best suited to you?

I lifted the original Ute turret 4 inches through the centre area as well. Then fitted a Caprice sunglass console and interior light
