ROFL I often say Cano-win-dra as a joke around here. Gee, the locals go off if you use it there! Can-ow-in-dra is more how they like it.

Then there is a whole new language across the ditch. They seem to have a bit of difficulty pronouncing vowels compared to what us Aussies are used to.
