how does the different weight configurations come about or is that info on byrons site

go to www.monarparts.com which is byrons website and you will see tags from a hj sandman xx7 with a 2200kg weight..i owned the car..

i have tried the link to byrons site but it tells me its not there how can i find it thanks

I think some of the weight differences come about in HJ because of motor/gearbox combos (ie 6cyl to 8), tyre combos (xx7/xu3) and just being incorrect. The HQ series had the same gmv whatever, I think the early HJ the same until Holden was forced to state the correct GMV based on the component weight and tyre combinations.
