Plenty of owners over the years could and probably did change or add badges.

HJ Kingswood Sandman had the Kingswood badge in the middle and the 4.2L or 5.0L badge mostly on the drivers side but I have seen them on the passengers side also... (possibly an assembly plant thing?)

Hows that for a definitive anwser Adam???

Not that elusive, I have been stocking up and have 3... one of which is NOS.. gotta love Ebay

Finding them with both mounting pins not broken off is the hard part......... These were fitted to all HJ-HZ Holden utes and panelvans so there really should be heaps around but like fuel caps a lot of people must have removed them...
YOU ARE CORRECT I AM A PANEL BEATER SO THERE FOR I SHOULD KNOW IF A PANEL IS FACTORY OR NOT . NO ONE CAN REPRODUCE THE SAME PAINT AS FACTORY AS WE CAN NOT BUY THE SAME PRODUCTS AND NOR DO WE GO THROUGH THE SAME PROCEDURE AS FACTORY SO THERE FOR IF YOU KNOW YOUR BUSINESS YOU KNOW WHATS WHAT. but in regards to my question about tail gate badges i do appreciate your input and i thank you.
