Hobbies and other intrests

Probaly into the cars the most at the moment. In a couple of car clubs (vintage & classic car club of Ballarat & Ballarat & district Early holden Club). Also have a GTS Monaro.
Love motor sport,Used to race clubman light in the go-karts untill I nearly killed myself bit over a year ago,(barell roll at 100km's) so thought it may be a good time to hang upo the boots.
Keen AFL follower (Richmond):(:( and enjoy watching my kids in their sport, music etc.

I too am a tragic Richmond supporter. Spurs fan in the EPL, so good to see the boys make champions league this year.

I am the golfer of the group, getting some practice in as I am heading to the motherland (Scotland / Ireland) in six weeks on a "working" holiday!!!

My new hobby that I am currently looking into setting up for is HQ Racing. Will be doing it in adelaide. Prob next season. I am on the hunt for the right car. Handy that my own business can be the major sponcer!

G'day
I have 2 main hobbies, stamp collecting (since when I was a kid) and model cars. I only collect current Australian stamp issues, past issues (real early issues) and the Australian territory stamps (Coco Island, AAT and Christmas Island). The model cars, mainly Australian classic (even fords, a dirty word, I have the respect that they deserve). I start off 1/64 size models and now collect 1/43, some 1/18 size (a real nice size models- expensive and a small collection). I don't go into having the different colour's model to a releases, too expensive.

Interest are, Holden cars (Maloo ute and 2 sandman) and my 2 road bikes. I own a Honda CBR 600 and Suzuki Hayabusa (GSX1300). Very quick machine. I'm also a member of the Ulysses (good biker club) and our local branch. I like the leathers and then change into my overalls to work on the Sandman. I quite enjoy chasing up spare parts for my old girls, whether it for restoring or back up (just in case i blow up something). I would like to add a Monaro to my fleet (HX LE coupe or a HZ GTS)

Also have other interest, going to rock concerts, spending time at the music shop (buying cd's) and traveling (around Australia or oversea), I'm getting the taste for freedom, as my children have grown up, move away and staring their own lives and careers (I have 3 children).

Sadly, I work a couple of jobs to pay for these habits and wish I could spend more time on my Hobbies and Interests. Keep me busy.

My main interet at the moment I would have to say is our Kids activities, that's where most of our time goes anyway. 11 yr old son plays Rugby league, touch football, basketball, tennis and cricket, and plays piano, and 8 yr old daughter does Ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz, contempory and plays netball.
I do a bit for myself though , have a small property where I breed texas longorn cattle, although on a very small scale now, get to a few rodeo's a year to get some steer wrestling done, a bit of horse riding, collect old toyota bits to rebuild my 1973 trayback again one day, not that it needs much. My wife and I dabble in realestate a bit, so that's always a topic here and there during the week. Just doing what we can to live the dream I suppose....
