The good lady wife adores the Wheel Of Time.....shes already stressing that it will be the last one I just cant see myself reading ALL those.....bloody massive undertaking!!!

I'll have to look into this Charles Bean fella

How good is Keif's book?!?! I love the story of the Stones travelling in the Southern State of the US in the 60's. They hired an old car and filled it with coke and grass even inside the door panels but left the drugs in the car while on tour!

Keif reckons there is an old lady driving around Texas with a few kg's of drugs in her car.

Great read indeed!!
Those were hard time for colored people and the law didnt look too kindly on the Stones either!! Amazing how the walked into a black bar and the whole place stopped when they waked in thinking there was trouble afoot.
Geez they got away by the skin of their teeth with that incident!!!
Cant help but have a soft spot for Keif...he makes the best pirate too!!! Just gotta stay out of the trees

This one is also interesting.......these guys took so much drugs even Alice Cooper freaked out!!!

I know its not a book as such, but the National Geographic mags are also pretty awesome!!

And also a big high 5 to Stephen King and Clive Barker!!

Now that i have googled Charles Bean....i feel unAustralian not knowing who he was/is. *hangs head in shame*
