Coming soon to Channel 9, CSI Newcastle.
COOL!!!!
Go to the Random pics that i put up last night to see who Felatio is!!!!
BO6 = Rarer then a Sandman
lets say you are the owner of a HZ XX7 tagged L31 M40 van which is original with all the unique sandman identifiers BUT with a WB chassis under it from a previous accident repair.... you now want to sell it..... out of curiosity how would the heading in your evilbay ad read?
that should tell you if identity of the car has changed....
of course its still a sandman... albeit a WB Sandman from an RTA perspective
Al (not brad)
The add should read; Holden panelvan, XX7 Sandman Tags, WB chassis. The buyer can then decide what its worth.
It definitely has got messy by now but I think Myles is tucked up in bed dreaming about his sandman project! Sweet dreams young fella!
That is about right. The recent Victorian Civil Court case (see latest Unique Cars) means that you cannot even sell what you believe to be a legitimate vehicle without posing a risk to yourself. If you buy what you think is a Sandman, but the person before you rebuilt it using a replacement body. Then you sell it later as a Sandman. The person who buys it off you then finds out what has happened, YOU will be liable in some cases for false advertising. What you need to do unless you bought it new and have the receipt, is sell it as "appears to be a Sandman" or Holden utility and show the vehicle tags. Never mention that it is a Sandman. This means if you have one with a different chassis you must sell it as a Holden panel van, not as a Sandman. Or say it used to be a Sandman but after a crash the chassis was changed, still wears original Sandman ID plates. Or something like that. Then it isn't false advertising. Thank the Ford idiots for this.
My yellow van is regoed as
Year 1977. Make Holden. Model HZ 77A. Variant sandma. Shape pvn Tare 1450. GVM 1950. Seating capacity 2. Engine capacity 4144.0. Vin/chassis number AHZxxxxxM. Engine number QRxxxxxx axle code R11
The point is sandman is on the papers under variant and this all depends on how the blue slip is filled out
