    What speedo should i have?
    5 digit or 6 digit? (5/75)

    Ahh, that is the question isn't it. There has been talk on Fastlane about change over dates of 3/75, 9/75, 12/75 and 3/76.... which one is correct I have no Idea. All I can tell you is my 5/75 Contessa Gold HJ Sandman I bought in 83 had a 5 digit speedo in it because it had been clocked and was reading 1400klm when I got it.

    Going on many other changes in HJ. I would have thought that the change my have been for the 76 model. So end 9/75
