Could this be a sandman - Chassis swap

Exactly what he is saying. If you put a HZ chassis under a HQ it then becomes a HZ and must comply with all HZ ADR's.

That is not what the NSW Road transport legislation says. Perhaps going from HQ to HZ brings in a different document for modified but for a straight chassis swap there is nothing mentioned anything like what he is claiming. Oz box has been ramming this down the throat of anyone who dares dispute his claims including our youngest and newest forum member while he was revelling in the joy of finding a Sandman. It is now time for him to produce the proof of his claims. Once he has done this I will agree with him, then he and I can team up on next newbie who pokes his head into this forum, saying he has a Sandman with a non matching chassis and tear him to bits.

as for disputing my claims i suggest you do some more reading in the correct areas..modified section isnt it coz it isnt modified..pick up a phone and speak to someone like a blue slip registration human and see what they say?
i dont need to produce what i know to be legal as ive been doing cars for 30 years legally buying/selling/dismantling so ive come across it before..
just wondering 2t..why are you so adamant that the chassis number is not the identity?
what else can it be?

I made my opinion in the other thread that Absinth started along with many others. You came in with statements Like......

unless you grind off or find a blank chassis and restamp the chassis number it still will not match the tag....NOT A SANDMAN...
(**** me how many times will i have to type this before people realise wtf im talkin about and get it in their heads that if the numbers dont match between chassis and tag it cannot ever be a sandman again legally)...

I have now put the challenge to you to back these claims up before you do it again.
Being a wrecker for thirty years does not make what you say legally correct. Granted you probably have more knowledge of HQ-WB that any one here but please go to the correct document and point us all to the section that backs up what you are claiming or stop making the claims.

firstly..i dont do stunts..i do facts..
i dont believe it was wrong at all because i deal with people doing there dreams everyday of my life and have seen first hand the pain in someones face when they have been told by other people that they have a dud and then come to me to verify it.
also i havent been a wrecker for 30 years. ive been a licensed dealer for 30 years and a licensed wrecker for 20 years so im not just pulling them apart and selling the bits.
i buy and sell registered cars and also re register unregistered cars which is where i first came across the chassis number identity problems.
i do not need to prove myself right..you need to prove me wrong..
